as part of the 2010 siff collaboration with wongdoody, we created three bumpers which will precede all films at the festival this year. like last year, they are inspired by the poster art created by wongdoody and play off of the “inside out” theme.
there is but only a thin wall protecting us from the insanity that lurks within the siff world…
today microsoft launched their latest foray into the mobile phone world with the KIN. razorfish and kontent partners engaged us to handle all editorial and post production for the content used in the launch of the KIN web presence. you can check out a couple of our favorite pieces here and you should definitely check out the KIN site to get the full experience.
we found out today that our microsoft future vision piece was chosen as a winner in the 50th anniversary edition of the communication arts design annual! it’s an honor for us to be included along side other great artists and we’re very proud to receive such prestigious accolades.
to coincide with their launch of the new trainer 1 shoe, nike came to us to create two pieces that showcase the complete customization that’s possible through nikeid.com
both spots follow a narrative of each athlete’s (brandon roy and larry fitzgerald) personal inspirations and how those inspirations go into the design of their own trainer 1 shoe. for larry we went with a stop motion approach. for roy, 3d. both badass in their own right. anyway, check ‘em out either in the work section or on nike.com
oh, hello had the pleasure of collaborating with wongdoody this year on part of the film festival content for siff 2009. the three bumpers are based on poster artwork exploring the unexpected (and sometimes pretty creepy) things you can find when you come check out siff. the bumpers will be shown before every film at the festival and we’re stoked to see them up on the big screen! big props to matt hutchinson for an awesome job on the music.

northwest film forum and our good friend matt daniels invited us to participate in the “seattle moves” panel discussion this saturday, march 7th at 4pm. we’ll be showing some of our latest work and only charging $5 for photos…kidding. see more info on the exciting events this weekend at bydesign 09 here.
earlier this month we had the pleasure of premiering handfed at bug, a bi-monthly music video showcase at the british film institute in london. how sweet is that? bonus: they loved it.
